I'm not sure this will help you, but the issue is discussed in the blog, under new features http://blogs.ancestry.com/ancestry/2015/06/05/new-ancestry-feature-update/ Right now the family view of the tree data is considered a lower-priority feature/not currently being addressed because it had low usage. I'm sorry- that must be frustrating for you. For many others, they enjoy the new features and layout. I'm neutral- fine with either- just adapt. Best wishes. Oh- and the QUICK EDIT feature works. It's in the drop down menu next to EDIT in the upper right hand corner.

Good to hear that someone likes it. You are the only person I have heard who is neutral about it. I haven't seen any positive comments from old users. Everybody is pretty much fumming. They just keep deleting comments off the blog as fast as they appear. For every 20 that would appear, only 1 would still be there hours later. I'm not talking about abusive comments being taken down, just people saying they passionately disliked it, or felt they could not use it in it's current shape. I didn't see any positive reviews, so interested to hear what some people like about it. The entire thing made me wonder if the tech team was possibly deleting user comments, to create some sort of damage control in front of the CEO's. Haven't seen an update tank the way this one has, since Flickr went under. It has a similar graphic look to what happened there when Yahoo bought it and sent people running in droves.

I don't know because the they won't let me use the software even though I paid for it. As such, I would recommend that you refrain from using their product. Taking someone's money without giving something in return is theft. Clearly these people are thieves.
