The short answer to your question is most of the women are models/escorts/prostitutes making money on the side providing pictures to agencies who then use them to construct profiles that are sold to unscrupulous "dating agencies" like AnastasiaDate. Most have no interest whatsoever of marrying an average guy or older guy from anywhere, unless there is a scam angle in it to better their life. The longer answer is more interesting.

I have been sampling these dating sites for several weeks now, and am beginning to wonder why anyone doing any due diligence would ever pay them a penny! I got over 300 messages in a week on AnastasiaDate without sending a single message myself. When I calculated what it would cost to respond to these messages I balked and weeded the number down to 50 based primarily on looks. I sent some messages and am now screening ladies to meet. This has taken me to anti-scam sites, classifieds, and escort agencies. To keep this short, for the cost of paying to read and respond to a weeks worth of messages on AnastasiaDate, most of which are likely junk, I can purchase a roundtrip ticket to the Ukraine and get a flat for a month with money left over. I can see why the antispam sites check escort agencies. Ukrainian escorts are numerous and the equal of anything AnastasiaDate is offering when it comes to beauty. The difference is that the Escort will give you at least one nude picture to look at, will show up ready for affection, and will give you all the affection you pay for. Heck, the escort you could hire might well be advertized through an agency on a dating site! Cost? As low as $40/hr or $300 for 12hrs, but I'm sure if you took one you liked for a week you could work a discount on that making them comparable to a "date" arranged by AnastasiaDate.

Now I am not suggesting you should just give up on a beautiful Ukrainian wife and take a sex holiday instead. Spend your days and evenings scoping out the place and looking for Ms. Right. Be bold. Who cares? You are going to go home and never see any of the people who might reject you anyway. Heck, if she gives you a good deal, you might even want to take your escort friend with you. There is no better "wingman" than a beautiful woman and you are paying her to do your bidding, so bid! If you strike out just take your escort friend home and have fun with her. The site is 100% Scam. Such an incredible amount of money you are giving to Women and their boyfriends, husbands, pimps, fathers, mothers, brothers, entire families. They are living in abject poverty in a war torn country and by the way it might take you 10 seconds on google to find out Kharkov is a city at the very center of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia right now. I think you must be very dumb. The website pays these women a small % commission for every transaction they produce. It's as simple as that, emotional prostitution. 95% of all the websites dealing with Ukrainian, Russian, Asian, Latin American, Eastern European brides operates on this same exact business model. However, I assure you, if you have all that money to waste on the website, you have enough money to save up for a trip to go wherever you want (I recommend Lviv, or Kiev right now), and so long as you're not a porn addicted pig of a man looking for a sex vacation there are going to be heaps of fantastically beautiful women falling at your feet. In fact they are pretty aggressive. I know because I lived there when I was teaching at a University in Kiev. There are fabulous Women there (but don't bother with a website) and they will gravitate to you. However, be aware, even when you are there scams are always afoot. As I said I used to live in Kiev and I had a wonderful relationship with a woman from Lviv, but she'd gone to University in Washington DC, already had a U. S Visa and wasn't using me for anything. These are generalizations, but they are generally 95% true. So get your head out of your ass and quit wondering if you're paying for nothing, you ARE paying for nothing. And it's 100% true the women on Anastasiadate and many many other websites get paid a % for the amount of money they manage to suck in, all measured by the people who run the site, and the majority of the money going to 'virtual pimps' who recruit the women to these sites. And the women are easy pickings too. They live in abject poverty despite the fact they speak 2-4 languages, have 1-4 degrees, and look like supermodels. They now live in a war torn country, and they ARE more intelligent, and more attractive than 99% of the women in North America by simple virtue they adhere to ancient principals of family structure, marriage, monogamy, etc. However, you can imagine their sense of entitlement to a better life, and their vulnerability to rational that might give them that, when it comes to using their God given assets to make an extra buck, and all they have to do is sit at home and chat with me. And remember, unless a woman is appearing on Video chat, she is most likely a man pretending to be a woman to get your money. And if it is a real woman she is on the Video chat to make more money for herself than through all that tedious emailing of letters back and forth. Get it? It's a total Scam. So if going there and getting a wife is that attractive to you, you'll have to go there, you'll have to get comfortable with their culture, their customs, and you'll have to live by them in strict accord if you want to keep peace between the sheets with a born and bred Ukrainian woman.
