There have been a lot of negative reviews here where people are getting shoddy merchandise and, because the shipping takes so long, by the time they get the stuff, it's too late to return it. AliExpress is full of counterfeiters and thieves, so doing any sort of business with that site is exceptionally risky. You'd be better off supporting your local economy to be honest. That cheap price you're paying is directly equated to the quality of merchandise.

I didn't have any problems receiving packages. My problem came when what I received was of poor quality and didn't match the specifications of what was on the website. Seller gave me the run around until the time frame for a refund ran out.

For instance, I bought a software that, according to the ad listing, was supposed to be genuine and consisted of 11 DVD, well I received a damaged USB drive instead containing a counterfeit copy of the software that could be found everywhere on internet. No refund, lost $150.

The site is full of substandard goods and fraudulent activity. The Sellers will send you a partial order and receive full payment. You will never receive an favorable determination if you have a legitimate dispute as they always side with the seller and there is no way to appeal. Merchandise looks as if my 5 year old stitched it together with fabric I've never seen. BUYER BEWARE!

Ali Express used to be a good site and i used it several times a few years back... now it is not as used to be... they offer free shipping which you wouldn't get it before 60 days and if you get it, its a poor quality and totally different from the item or the picture they put there... and there is no way you could return the item... because even if you get it within a time frame the shipping fee you asked to pay for return shipment is way more than the items you have on hand... It is really a disappointments... they were more trustworthy in early days. Now its a bunch of junk items which doesn't worth a cent..

To be honest it's all about the reviews you can read from the company I have never had any issues on aliexpress other than their tracking system going down from time to time. I only order from companies that have good reviews and have good reviews from the people in my country. It also depends on what you are buying and what your country allows read up on your countries policies on what is allowed to come from overseas. Other than that I have had no problems with customs holding my items due to inaccurate labeling of a purchased item. Before you buy something you can always message the company about that item how it is shipped and how the lable the item shipped out if it is far fetched from what the items is for instance if you buy a a designer handbag and it has a Coach or Michael kors logo on it and the lable sent to customs says coach or Michael kors they will almost likely hold it because it's not authentic because you got it at a cheap price which means it's counterfeit but if the lable had said inspired by designer handbag or designer replica then it would pass being they are making customs aware that this is non authentic and that they have made their customers aware of the authenticity of the items purchased. I hope this helps if it's a good company they will word it properly and send the exact item purchased in a timely manner and you should be able to sort these companies out by reading the reviews from people in your same country don't buy from companies that haven't shipped to your country before they are not familiar with the countries customs import.

I have had good luck with Ali Express most of the time. I always get my packages anywhere from 3-6 weeks unless they send it DHL then it comes earlier. I have gotten some "cheap" quality but then again I didn't pay much for it. I will say to stay away from BIEIR jewelers. I ordered 1 beautiful feather ring, sold it, ordered another, sold it, ordered 10 more and the craftsmanship was shoddy on 9 out of 10. I opened a dispute, they wanted me to send it back, I didn't trust them & closed the dispute. But, out of over 100 orders that I've placed in the last year that is my one big bad thing - I still use Ali Express. Never for clothes. Read the reviews.

I'm in Toronto Canada and my first experience with them was a horrible almost 6 month ordeal! I can only assume that the "store" I ordered from was completely bogus as they continued to respond to my messages asking where my stuff was saying that it had been sent and even went as far as to say it was at my local post office. The bigger issue was how customer services at AliExpress handled my complaint. It took months of me hounding them to finally admit that the package had not ever been sent and even longer for them to refund my money. My husband and I do quite a bit of online shopping, but will never go back to this site, There's too much fraudulent "stores". I'd rather support small businesses on Etsy.

I have placed over 60 orders with Aliexpress. I have been happy with 90+%. Never buy clothes that do not have the dimensions or clear photo. Jewelry without a good photo is a tell tale sign. There was only one time goods didn't arrive in Canada and my money was refunded. I have gotten full refund every time something has been wrong with product. You have to manage the dispute process, but the deadlines are very clear and it is easy to do. Just like any time you shop on line - use judgement. I love Aliexpress.

Im in Canada, never got what i ordered. Company couldnt even tell me where it is or what happened to it and kept asking me for proof. Complete scam!
