Have read the book and am ready to start the diet. Just wondering when it is ok to use the whey protein shakes? Ie. Is it ok to have two a day as from day 2? Also is it ok to add salt to food as seasoning? Thanks.

A: I used the whey protein from 12th day but not regularly, I sometimes made a protein shake using a little almond milk and a little plain Greek yogurt. But in the end I didn't use all my protein powder as I found I enjoyed raw veges and salad with a little protein much better...

I used the whey protein from 12th day.
A note of caution. You have to be really careful about carbohydrate intake. Then only results are good. And weight training exercises in the manual are really helpful. If you do them at least 4 times a week results are superb. During fatfast I lost 8 pounds in 3 days with just fat intake 30 min walk and regular weights for an hour.

Hi I never used whey at all I just ate protein foods. I never eat salt anyway but it does say seasoning ok but buy pure rock salt I think
